Firm's History

CMS Bureau Francis Lefebvre owes its strong identity to three people. Francis Lefebvre first started a tax practice for solicitors (notaires) and companies at the end of the 19th century. Following in his footsteps, his sons, Roger and Jacques Lefebvre, founded the Bureau Francis Lefebvre law firm in 1925; in addition to its tax practice, they developed a law practice. They also established Editions Francis Lefebvre and Formation Francis Lefebvre, two specialised publishing and training businesses whose ownership has been independent from CMS Bureau Francis Lefebvre since December 1996.
