CMS Bureau Francis Lefebvre, the synergy of expertise
Our 80 years of experience have not only enabled us to
establish an unparalleled knowledge base, but also underpin the
uniqueness that makes CMS Bureau Francis Lefebvre one of France's
leading business law firms.
Companies of all
sizes are entitled to a multidisciplinary offer, reliable
recommendations, a comprehensive grasp of cases, responsiveness,
attentiveness and a personalised relationship from their legal
advisors. The solutions delivered by CMS Bureau Francis Lefebvre,
however, go even further to keep pace with the increasing complexity of
the law.
-
Our solutions are based on specific features,
such as synergies between our tax and business law services; the
recognised authority of our specialists, demonstrated by the
significant number of cases handled; the expertise of our Doctrine and
Technological Survey Departments; and frequent publications.
-
We devise appropriate solutions under retainer-based assistance contracts, offering long-term support to companies and strengthening the personalised focus.
- In addition, our solutions embody our convictions,
which foster close relationships that can extend to active
participation in the company's decision-making process, where
appropriate.
With a team of approximatively 400
lawyers in France and a total of 2,000 worldwide, CMS Bureau Francis
Lefebvre leverages all the synergies of legal expertise.
| BACKGROUND
|
Bureau Francis Lefebvre owes its strong identity and image to three people. Francis Lefebvre laid the Firm's original foundations in the previous century by creating a practice for advising solicitors and businesses on tax matters. He was succeeded by his sons Roger and Jacques Lefebvre, who officially founded the Bureau Francis Lefebvre law firm in 1925 and expanded the range of legal counsel services provided in tandem with its tax law practice. They also founded Editions Francis Lefebvre and Formation Francis Lefebvre, two specialised publishing and training businesses whose ownership has been independent from CMS Bureau Francis Lefebvre since December 1996.
