General Information |
Electronic billing

The new billing regulations introduced in France on July 1, 2003 were accompanied by a series of measures to simplify and encourage the use of electronic billing. Technical solutions are available and, more importantly, the legal framework is now in place for companies to adopt paperless billing systems. Invoice processing costs are thus reduced by more than an estimated 60%.
Definition of the electronic invoice
Invoices in a structured file format in accordance with a defined standard (EDI, ASP, etc.) or non-structured format (file signed electronically using an electronic certificate)
