The European Observatory of Energy Markets: following the main indicators of electricity and gas, monitoring the balance between supply and demand and measuring progress in the creation of an open and competitive market in 27 countries of the European Union.
Launched in 2002, the Observatory is an annual publication of Capgemini.
This 10st edition, made up for the most part of public data, combined to the expertise of Capgemini on the energy sector, refers to data stemming from 2007 and winter 2007-2008. At last, all along the report, specific inserts on energy issues in the major European markets (Germany, Belgium, Denmark, Spain, Eastern Europe, France, Italy, Netherlands, United Kingdom, Sweden and Switzerland) and topical inserts (cost of clientele-service, mastering of energy demand, intelligent counting, control cases of energy consumption "Energy box",...) bring targeted enlightenments.
